With SEEC member Representative Sean Casten leading the fight, House Democrats are urging President Biden to restart negotiations over the stalled social spending bill in the Senate and prioritize the provisions tackling climate change.

In a letter to the White House, 89 House Democrats urged President Biden to recommence negotiations with Senate holdouts like Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), focusing on climate as the critical starting point.
