Help UNHCR to go further

Dear John,

First of all, I’d like to say thank you for supporting UNHCR. We are committed to protecting refugees and displaced people all over the world, and are glad to have you standing by our side.

Secondly, I’d like to ask if you would be able to make another donation today. With the shocking events happening in Ukraine at the moment, many people like you have been in touch to make further donations. We thought you might want to do the same.

  • $700 is enough to provide cash for protection assistance to a displaced family in Ukraine
  • $280 can provide a high thermal blanket to 10 refugees fleeing Ukraine, where temperatures in neighbouring countries are reaching minus temperatures
  • $120 could provide a one-off emergency cash assistance payment to a refugee in Poland or Moldova, enabling them to purchase the essentials they need

We don’t know how long this war will continue. We don’t know how many people will be forced to flee in the coming days and months. But we know that this is already the fastest growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II, with over 3 million refugees who sought safety in neighbouring countries and millions displaced within Ukraine. And we know that we will stay and deliver aid for as long as we need to. People displaced inside Ukraine, and refugees forced to flee the country need our continued support.

Increase your impact today.

Thank you from everyone here at UNHCR.
