Calling all Young Dems in King County! We hope you will join us next Sunday, March 27th at 4:00 PM for our general membership meeting. This month we will be voting on a proposed By-Laws amendment regarding our early endorsement procedure and consolidated officer's roles in the organization, which you can review here ([link removed]) . You must be a member in good standing to vote on the amendments, see below for more information!

** By-Laws Amendments:

The first amendment is to establish a process to allow KCYD to endorse candidates before May and creating requirements to quality for consideration. The second amendment, regarding KCYD Officers, consolidates the roles of varying officers, and addresses the issue of the legislative director being elected after the start of the legislative session.

If you have not already this year, please renew your membership ([link removed]) with the King County Young Democrats. We strongly encourage our members to pay dues as soon as possible. If, for any reason, you are unable to pay the dues, please email Yuan at

[email protected]) to get your dues waived, no questions asked. Paying dues gives you voting rights as a member and allows KCYD to fund travel expenses for YD events across the state and country.
