Folks, I have some good news to share.

Even though my right-wing opponents are spending millions of their own dollars to boost their campaigns (and have dark-money super PACs running ads on their behalf), polls show that I’m in a dead heat with every one of my Republican opponents.

But here’s the rub: Ohio’s Senate race is already one of the most expensive races in the country. Soon, Republicans will be flooding the airwaves with nasty smear campaigns and dishonest attack ads against me.

We need to get ahead of these attacks by launching positive ads of our own—but right now, we’re not on track to raise the funds we need to keep our ads up and running in every corner of Ohio.

We’re down by $8,286 and without an outpouring of grassroots support today, I’m worried we won’t have the resources we’ll need to counter the GOP’s lies.

What happens in Ohio will determine Senate control, so this is really important: Will you rush in $5 right now to help us keep our ads on the air so we can flip Ohio blue?
