In a recent interview with Fox News, Ryan Zinke thought he could slam
President Biden on energy. He claims that, had Biden followed Trump’s “energy
independence” plan, we wouldn’t have to depend on Russian oil.

But what Zinke really wants is to remove all environmental regulations from
drilling to help oil companies and executives make more money at the expense of
us and our planet.

Zinke is not one to talk about energy when he and Trump actively supported
importing Russian oil, deepening the United States’ dependency on Russia.

Not to mention, the cancellation of the Keystone XL pipeline has no effect on
rising gas prices in the US and would not help us energy-wise in any way
because it wouldn’t have been completed for several years. According to Zinke,
we should just abandon any progress made to stop our climate crisis.
