Folks,

With warm weather on the horizon, the climate crisis has been at the forefront
of our minds recently. Colorado's climate is changing every year. Temperatures
are rising, snow is melting earlier and earlier, fires are more frequent and
more intense, and less water flows through the Colorado River.

Colorado is, in our opinion, the greatest state in the Union. The people are
friendly, there are plenty of wide open spaces with big skies, everything from
mountain lions to prairie dogs call our state home. You can sightsee, hike,
ski, snowboard, you name it. But life in the Rockies is threatened by a
changing climate. We need to ensure beautiful Colorado and her climate is
protected for generations to come.

That’s why we’re asking for your help to call on Congress to take action to
combat the climate crisis.

Skiing is part of so many Coloradans' lives. In fact, it is our economy’s
second largest industry. But because of the climate crisis, we are seeing less
and less snow each year for shorter amounts of time. The climate crisis isn’t
just an ecological problem, it’s an economic one, too.

Join us in demanding that Congress move forward on legislation to combat the
climate crisis by signing our petition today!

The list of things diminishing in Colorado due to the climate crisis could go
on forever. Please, act now and sign our petition to demand that Congress act
on legislation and protect our climate.
