John,

For nearly 4 years, the Community Justice Action Fund has been on the frontlines when it comes to ending gun violence in communities of color. From holding community trainings to testifying in front of Congress, we’re committed to doing everything in power to protect our families and end this deadly epidemic.

But folks, the stats are simply shocking. Here’s what you should know: *
52%
of
all
gun
homicide
victims
are
black
men
--
despite
making
up
only
7%
of
the
population.
*
Latinx
homicide
victimization
rates
are
nearly
twice
as
high
as
white
victims.
*
97%
of
Americans
support
taking
common-sense
action
to
stop
gun
violence.
*
Black
women
are
two
and
a
half
times
more
likely
to
be
murdered
by
men
than
their
White
counterparts

But what we don’t know is why ending gun violence in communities of color is so important to YOU, John.

So will you take a moment to answer our 1-question survey on why addressing gun violence is so important to you? [[link removed]]
