John,
For more than a year now, the Congressional Progressive Caucus, with our WFP champions in Congress, has fought tirelessly to deliver on the promises Democrats made to voters in 2020 — on fighting climate change, lowering drug prices, affordable housing, and so much more.
But a Republican Party committed to serving the wealthy — and just enough corporate Democrats helping them succeed — has blocked most of our progress on these issues (that a majority of Americans support) to date.
That's why we're proud to join our WFP champions and the Congressional Progressive Caucus in calling for several executive actions President Biden can and must take as soon as possible to deliver for working families. We wanted to break the list of these demands down for you because the possibilities are exciting — but before we do, we have to ask:
Can you make a grassroots contribution of $3 or any amount to our Working Families Majority Fund to sustain our work in securing critical pieces of our progressive agenda, supporting WFP champions, and electing more working families champions to Congress?

Here's what President Biden could accomplish TODAY with the stroke of a pen:
🏥 Lower health care costs by lowering the cost of prescription drugs, expanding eligibility for cost-saving premium subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, reversing Trump-era efforts to privatize Medicare, and more.
💪🏽 Raise wages and expand worker power by strengthening and expanding overtime protections, issuing new heat and wind standards to protect workers from extreme conditions, and more.
🌱 Address climate change and reduce fossil fuel dependence by declaring a National Climate Emergency and invoking the Defense Production Act to increase renewable energy production, strengthening clean air and water protections, and more.
💰 Cancel federal student loan debt by using existing authorities to cancel federal student loan debt.
⚖️ Deliver on the promise of equal justice under the law by holding corporations accountable for anti-consumer and anti-worker misdeeds, demilitarizing law enforcement, establishing a permanent board to review more than 18,000 pending clemency petitions, and more.
👨👨👧 Advance immigrant rights by providing relief to those arriving from countries in crisis through granting Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designation, ending Remain in Mexico (MPP) and Title 42 expulsions to ensure a humane asylum system, stopping the exploitation of migrant workers, and more.
👩🏾⚕️ Invest in care economy jobs and standards by expanding access to in-home care for veterans, growing strong child care worker unions that allow workers to organize, and more.
💸 Regulate for economic and tax fairness by closing the carried interest loophole that allows Wall Street executives to game the system to pay lower tax rates, end expanded offshore tax loopholes, and more.

How do we make this all a reality? These actions are important steps the president can take right now to give working families much-needed relief, but fully tackling all of the elements of our progressive agenda will still require Congressional action. That's why it's so important we work to protect our WFP champions in Congress and build the working families majority we know is possible through our organizing in important primaries this spring.
Now is not the time to let up. Can you make a grassroots contribution of $3 or any amount to our Working Families Majority Fund so we can continue fighting for the progress we know is possible on all fronts?
