Imagine having a child who needs insulin and having no idea how you’re going to pay for it. Here in the Valley, that’s a reality for too many parents.

Insulin prices are simply out of control. Josh has heard from people paying as much as $1,000 a month, even with insurance. And let’s be clear why this is happening - corporate greed. A report Josh commissioned found that pharma companies could charge as little as $11 for insulin and still make a profit. Our healthcare system, especially prescription drugs, is completely out of whack, and we refuse to just shrug our shoulders and let it continue.

That’s why Josh is fighting to cap the price of insulin at $35/month. This one change would make a massive difference for millions of families.

1 in 10 Americans have diabetes. This is an issue that touches just about every single family, and it’s completely outrageous that big pharma is price gouging on something our loved ones need to survive. If we could cap the price of insulin, that’s hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars per month families could put towards education, food, or a mortgage. It makes a huge difference.
