I joined Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA-01) in a letter to President Biden to URGE him to change his energy agenda. The letter outlines actions Biden can take now to promote American energy production.

GET THE FACTS: 164,973 Illegal Immigrants Encountered in February

As you may have heard, 164,973 illegal immigrants were encountered last month at our southern border, making it the highest number of encounters for February in the Department of Homeland Security’s history. This makes February the 12^th straight month with over 150,000 encounters at our southern border. Meanwhile, illegal border crossings are at an astounding 21-year high and deportations are at a 26-year low. This is insanity! The latest numbers from U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirm what we have known all along: Democrats’ open border policies have only exacerbated the crisis at our southern border.

Monica from our office presented a Congressional Recognition to Mike Crawford and Jamie Kelly, founders of Not All Heroes, for their hard work in assisting servicemembers, veterans, first responders, dispatchers, and their families. Thank you for all you do for our heroes!

Casework Highlight

Our office received a call from a constituent seeking assistance with obtaining passports for he and his wife in preparation for travel. Our office was able to get them an appointment a few days later to process their passports, and they received the passports well ahead of time for their travel date.

Encouraging Story

I am pleased to share this story about Gigi’s World Kids Taxi, a Valley children’s taxi company that made a heartfelt gesture to a single mom. Gigi’s World Kids Taxi offers transport services for busy families. Cheryl Neuser had been a customer of Gigi’s World Kids Taxi but had fallen behind on some of her bills. She called up the taxi company to let them know she could no longer afford to continue using their services. That’s when the owner, Gigi Buentipo, offered to continue providing the rides at no cost to Neuser. It’s great to see the ways people in our local communities are stepping up to help one another.
