** James Continues to Push Back on Overreaching Mandates

Most Americans no longer need to wear masks in schools or public places, and James Tuesday pushed for an end to one of the most far-reaching COVID-19 mask mandates left – transportation. He said, "The American people want the freedom to choose. The entire country is setting aside the mask mandates.

** James Continues to Push for More Aid to Ukraine

James said this week: "There’s a Biblical term that says if it’s within your power to act and you withhold it—that’s really what (Zelensky) was calling out. It’s to say, ‘You have access to aircraft that we could use. That's what we need to defend ourselves...That’s not an unreasonable request from a person who has taken inbound 1,000 missiles in the last three weeks."

** James & Cindy Ask for Prayers and Donations for Ukraine

This week, James and Cindy called on Team Lankford to support nonprofits that are on the ground in Ukraine providing emergency assistance. They called for donations through work your church is doing and also provided a few credible nonprofits as resources, including the Red Cross ([link removed]) , Samaritan's Purse ([link removed]) , and Salvation Army ([link removed]) .


** Senate Works to Make Daylight Saving Time Permanent
------------------------------------------------------------

On Tuesday, the Senate unanimously passed the Sunshine Protection Act, which Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford introduced last year with several other senators. Lankford and Sen. James Inhofe released statements about the potential for a permanent move to daylight saving time.

Everyone had a great time at the Stafford Air & Space Museum last week. We are grateful to everyone who was able to join us. If you haven't visited the museum in Weatherford, we highly recommend it to the entire family.
