Working families in Wisconsin and across the nation are feeling the effects of Putin’s price hike. Of course, I know I don’t have to tell you that — I’m sure you and your family feel it every time you head to the pump.

While many Americans are wondering how they’ll afford their next fill up, large oil corporations are only getting richer — driving up prices on working families so they can boost profits and line their own pockets with cash.

Today, big oil companies like Exxon Mobil and Chevron are seeing near-record profits. As gas prices increase, I’m fighting to hold these big oil companies accountable and give working families immediate relief.

That’s why I cosponsored the Big Oil Windfall Profits Tax , legislation that would address profiteering by large oil companies and ensure they pay their fair share. The profits would go directly to working families in the form of a rebate.
