Hello John,
I wanted to reach out to you today to update you on the state of the campaign. I am happy to report that things have been going exceptionally well, as I have had the opportunity to travel around and meet with so many groups throughout the district. This has allowed me to learn about the needs of the people and shared ideas in CD2. I have been inspired by the resilience and passion I’ve seen everywhere, and I am humbled by the support our campaign has built. I am proud to say that I have received the endorsements of Amy Kennedy, Vince Mazzeo, Caren Fitzpatrick, Will Cunningham, Yolanda Garcia Balicki, and more. I have also been awarded the Democratic Lines in Ocean and Gloucester county. I do not take these endorsements lightly and will continue to work hard to earn everyone’s trust.
As a former police officer, prosecutor, and now a civil rights attorney, I am committed to serving everyone in our community. Members of the LBGTQ deserve equal protection in housing, employment, and health care access. Additionally, the assault on women's reproductive rights must end now. We must also make sorely needed reforms to our justice system and begin to heal the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Furthermore, we must work to fund the VA system and medicare by increasing its reach and accessibility. And most urgently, we must protect our democracy and our Constitutional right to vote from the attacks by Republican-led legislatures around the Nation. I am committed to working on these issues and bringing an end to government-sponsored bigotry and discrimination.
