The war in Ukraine is a devastating humanitarian crisis and a global crisis. We need elected leaders in Congress who understand the gravity of the situation and are laser focused on America’s ongoing response.

Instead, Madison Cawthorn is brazenly parroting Putin’s talking points by calling the Ukrainian President a “thug” and his country “incredibly evil.”

While his dangerous remarks have drawn condemnation across the political aisle, Russia’s state propaganda TV networks are running clips of Cawthorn’s statements again and again to advance their agenda.

As with the January 6th insurrection, we see Cawthorn using his platform in dangerous ways to affiliate with extremist political movements, both domestic and foreign.

Enough is enough. Cawthorn has put our democracy at risk from the moment he took office.

So please, rush $5 or more to defeat Cawthorn, flip NC-11 blue, and send Jasmine to Congress to deliver the leadership that Western NC needs and deserves.
