I won’t mince words, John. Kevin McCarthy just told CNN I will not be on the House Intelligence Committee if the GOP wins the majority. The committee I currently chair.

I’ve got to tell you, that’s pretty rich coming from Kevin McCarthy.

It wasn’t too long ago McCarthy privately asserted to Republican leaders that Donald Trump was on Putin’s payroll. These days, you’re more likely to find him sorting Trump’s Starbursts or refusing to utter a bad word about the GOP’s dear leader. He appointed Devin Nunes chairman several years ago, but I’m the one supposedly making the Intel Committee political? Give me a break.

Every accusation is an admission from McCarthy. Someone who must never become Speaker of the House. And we have the power to stop him.
