Hi {name}, Chapter 2 in this year’s Progressive University is coming your way THIS WEEK! If you missed the last event, no problem - we are continuing our education series throughout the Spring with more topics on a biweekly basis! This is our way of extending our traditional Progressive Summit breakout sessions in a format that is digestible in a virtual format. This week, we’re gathering (on Zoom) this Wednesday, March 23rd, at 6:00PM with our guests, André Wade with Silver State Equality and AJ Huth with the LGBTQ Center of Las Vegas! We’ll be discussing the state of LGBTQ+ policy issues in Nevada, including struggles facing youth, family acceptance, and the gender variant communities in the state. With just a year to go until the next Nevada legislative session, and increasingly hostile bills being introduced around the country, particularly attacking trans youth, it’s imperative to equip ourselves with the knowledge, messaging, & priorities to make Nevada a stronghold of acceptance and equality!
