Support the 2022 Legal Defense Fund

Dear Friend of the National Parks,

Victories for America's national parks never happen easily or
quickly.

That's particularly true for courtroom victories you help win
through your support of NPCA's National Parks Legal Defense
Fund. It takes a great deal of time and money to litigate on behalf of
national parks. Some of our lawsuits take years to achieve success.

But with your support, you make these courtroom victories possible.

Going to court is the best way to put enduring park protections in
place that can withstand shifting political winds and incessant
lobbying by special interests looking to exploit the parks for profit.

And when going to court is required to save national parks from
permanent harm, we rely on loyal NPCA supporters like you to help make
sure we're up to the task.

NPCA is launching an urgent campaign to advance the work of our
National Parks Legal Defense Fund and our other critical park
protection efforts. As part of this campaign, a generous NPCA donor
has offered to match every gift we receive by March 31st - up to
$30,000!

Friend of the National Parks, will you be one of the first NPCA supporters to step
up with a gift today? It will be matched, dollar-for-dollar -
DOUBLING your impact for the parks in the courts, in Congress and in
communities across the country. And if you join with a gift of $15 or
more, you'll receive a free NPCA satchel as our thank you gift to you.

Make my Matched Gift

Right now, NPCA's Legal Defense Fund is involved in more than 30
active cases involving matters ranging from violations of the Clean
Water Act to cruel hunting practices on national parklands.

We are continuing our decade-long legal battle to block construction
of a 210-mile private mining road that would cut through Gates of the
Arctic National Preserve, cross the Kobuk Wild River and disrupt the
migration of the Western Arctic Caribou Herd.

We've also filed a new lawsuit to compel the Environmental
Protection Agency to adhere to the Clean Air Act and require the state
of California to reduce air pollution in national parks near the San
Joaquin Valley, including Sequoia and Yosemite. And we're
involved in a prolonged legal fight to protect Biscayne National
Park's marine wildlife and habitat against the ravages of
overuse and commercial fishing.

Your contributions to NPCA are crucial to the success of these
lawsuits - and to the future of the most magnificent and
significant places in our country.

Please help us defend your parks against all threats by supporting
NPCA's Legal Defense Fund with an urgently needed contribution
today. Every dollar you give by March 31 will be MATCHED 100% until we
reach our $30,000 goal!

enduring protections for national parks.
