Dear John,
You know as well as I do that our clients are extraordinary people of faith.
I’m constantly amazed and humbled by patriots like our Navy SEALs who are taking a heroic stand for their convictions—fighting not only for our freedom abroad, but for religious freedom right here at home.
These elite warriors are caught in the crossfire of an intense legal battle for their liberties.
The Biden administration and the Pentagon are relentless in their attacks against the SEALs, punishing them with a vindictive and discriminatory approach:
- Targeting the Navy SEALs own families by restricting their travel
- Punishing a Navy SEAL who sustained a traumatic brain injury by refusing him access to a healthcare facility
- Ignoring a federal judge’s order to stop punishing the SEALs
- Canceling or restricting countless training and deployment opportunities
But you don’t have to run into the line of fire like our Navy SEALs to be a hero.
Other patriots like Coach Joe Kennedy show us another courageous example of an American hero living out his faith—even though it cost him his job.
Coach Kennedy is a high school football coach from Bremerton, Washington who wants to give thanks through a quiet, personal prayer after his football games. Even though it has cost him a high price to live out his faith, Coach is not giving up. His case will finally be heard at the Supreme Court on April 25th.
Because of these patriots and the constitutional principles for which they are taking a stand, a small group of supporters have come together with a $500,000 Challenge Grant in this crucial fight for religious freedom.
I’m honored by this generous support because this is one of the BIGGEST Challenge Grants ever in the history of First Liberty.
With this special Challenge Grant, your donation today will multiply in impact, which means we can reclaim religious freedom for people of faith like our brave heroes and all Americans in 2022.
Please join us now before time runs out at midnight on April 25th.
Gratefully,
Kelly
