Tomorrow is a disturbing reminder of why I’m in this fight.

On September 1st of last year, the right-wing Supreme Court effectively stripped millions of their fundamental right to abortion care by allowing Texas to enact an unconstitutional 6 week abortion ban.

That means that as of tomorrow, millions of Americans in the second most populous state in the country will have been denied access to abortion for 200 days.

I’ve spent my career working to advance gender equity and social justice. And It's no exaggeration to say that everything I've fought for is on the line.

The vast majority of the American people support protecting abortion access. But the stolen Supreme Court is badly out of step with the American people – Republicans have appointed 15 of the last 19 justices despite losing the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 presidential elections. Now, these un-elected right-wing partisans are on the verge of dismantling fundamental rights supported by the majority of people in this country.

And this is just one issue among many. Whether you joined this movement because of this Court’s actions on abortion, voting rights, gun control, immigration, workers’ rights, or climate – all of these fights are connected.

As more and more people become aware of the danger this Court poses, the more power we have to change it – but we need your support if we’re going to continue growing this movement.

I’ve been in this fight my entire career, and I don’t plan on giving up. Now is the time to move Supreme Court expansion forward.
