President Biden announced that he’s nominating Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be the FIRST Black woman on the Supreme Court of the United States.

This is a huge milestone. But despite her qualifications, the GOP is gearing up to fight her nomination and try to block Judge Jackson from the Court. It’s just another reason why we need to protect and expand our Senate majority in 2022.

Judge Jackson’s nomination is going to face a tough road to confirmation in a Senate where Democrats only hold the narrowest possible majority of 50 seats.
