The Arlington Young Democrats will be holding the 2019-2020 Executive Board elections TOMORROW Wednesday, November 20th at 7pm at NRECA (4301 Wilson Blvd). The location is accessible from the Ballston metro station, and limited street parking is available. The elections will serve serve in lieu of our November monthly meeting. In order to cast your ballot in the AYD 2019 Executive Board elections, you must be a dues paying member. Renew your membership and pay your dues here ([link removed]) . To have membership dues waived due to financial hardship, contact Michael Hemminger at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

If you have requested to vote absentee, you must complete your ballot no later than 5 pm today, November 19.

Elections will be for the following positions:
* President
* Vice President
* Secretary
* Treasurer
* Community Service Director
* Campaign Director
* Outreach Director
* Membership Director
* Democratic Party Rep

The Arlington Young Democrats, in partnership with Equality Virginia, call on members and allies to volunteer for this important Equality Means Business campaign, which seeks to find local businesses willing to pledge that they will not discriminate against their employees or customers who are members of the LGBTQ community!

Our Arlington community is one of the bluest in the Commonwealth, and it’s time we start living our values through our businesses. But we need help getting the word out!

Volunteer to help AYD contact local businesses in Arlington (in person or by phone) to tell them about this important campaign and help them join! We will provide all volunteers with a sample script to get you started. Sign-up here ([link removed]) !

Want to help elect Democrats in less than an hour a month? We're recruiting Arlingtonians who live in apartment and condo complexes to serve as building ambassadors. You'll arrange voter registration events, remind your neighbors about upcoming elections and welcome candidates to visit.

Being a building ambassador is easy and fun! Many of our ambassadors find it a great way to meet their neighbors. Arlington Democrats will provide you with all the help that you need.
