John,

Kansas Senate Republicans have passed the first budget bill of this session, and it is devoid of any real positive change for Kansans.

They stripped crucial elements from the budget proposed by Governor Laura Kelly and were criticized by Democrats for not taking care of the state’s poor, not expanding Medicaid and not sending money to the State Board of Regents to freeze tuition in the upcoming school year.

A majority of Kansans want to expand Medicaid, properly fund public education, and take care of our neighbors -- why won't Republicans listen to what their constituents have to say?

Can you chip in $20, $35, $50 or $100 to the KDP to help break the Republican super majority in the Senate and pass budgets that benefits Kansans?
