I’ve been a top target for Republicans for quite some time. In this election cycle, they know that our district is a complete toss-up, and they know that they can’t take back control of the House without this seat.

Now they’re starting to open their wallets: House Republicans have pledged nearly $20 million to the NRCC – the National Republican Campaign Committee – to target top races like mine in their effort to take back the House.

This massive investment includes $11 million from Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and $1 million from far-right extremist Elise Stefanik. Here’s the thing: Republicans wouldn’t be spending big in our district if they didn’t think they had a real chance of flipping it red in November.

But I won one of the closest House races in the country in 2020, and I know I can do it again — as long as I have support from people like you. Can I count on you to chip in $5, $15, or whatever you can spare to ensure I can defend myself against Republican attacks and stay in Congress?
