I know we’ve sent a lot of emails asking for your donation lately, but there’s a good reason: 

Our FEC end-of-quarter deadline is less than 2 weeks away and we need 200 donors to chip in by midnight to stay on track to win this battleground race. 

This is our first deadline of 2022. We get no do-overs. No second chances. So if you could chip in $25 or any amount, I’d really appreciate it. 

It’s no secret that I’m a top target for Mitch McConnell and his dark money buddies. The GOP can’t afford to lose a single seat if they want to retake the Senate majority, and they thought Ohio was in the bag. 

Now McConnell and his cronies are pissed because polls have me neck-and-neck with every self-funding, Republican extremist they could put up against me.  

We have a real shot at flipping this seat blue, but we need to build the biggest grassroots effort Ohio has ever seen to compete with the millions of dollars Republicans are pouring into this race. Seriously, you can’t sit this one out.

So far, only about 32% of the people who gave to our campaign last quarter have given this quarter. We can’t let our grassroots momentum come to a standstill right before our FEC report, especially when our numbers will go public for everyone to see. 

We have to pick up the pace, and that’s why I’m asking: will you please make a contribution of $25 or any amount before midnight tonight? I wouldn’t keep asking if it wasn’t so important.
