Basic care is missing
Diabetes and mental health - time for change
Hi John,

Earlier this year you joined a #TeamDUK Challenge. With an election looming, can you take on another and help us put diabetes on the political agenda?

In a few weeks you’ll be heading to the polls to choose your new MP for . With 4.7 million people living with diabetes in the UK - that’s more than one in 15 of us - we need MPs who are committed to what we want: a world where diabetes can do no harm.

But diabetes isn't just about numbers - it is something people live with every day. That's why we are asking you to tell your candidates why diabetes matters to you and ask candidates to share why it matters to them.
Share why you care
It'll only take a minute but could leave a big impression.

If you have any questions about how you can help make the voice of people living with diabetes heard during the election campaign, get in touch with us at [email protected].

If your candidates get back to you directly, please let us know. We'd love to send them more information about how they can make a difference.

Best wishes,

Nycolle
