🚨 Georgia state House passes bill allowing people to carry a gun without license 🚨
- The Hill
QUICK: Should Kemp allow Georgians to carry guns without a license?
This is not good, team —
The Georgia House just passed a bill allowing people to carry their guns without a permit. Now, the bill must be reconciled with the Senate version before heading to Gov. Kemp’s desk for signing, and Gov. Kemp has already signaled his support.
This is just bad governance all around, team. Nevermind that 88% of Americans think you should have a permit to carry a concealed weapon or that handgun homicides increase by about 11% in states with permitless carry. And all the while Atlanta is still reeling from the senseless murder of six Asian American workers just a year ago. The Georgia GOP is determined to deliver for their gun lobby friends who write them six-figure checks.
The writing is on the wall: Kemp and his so-called “pro-life” cronies in the GOP are determined to cater to partisan extremists and the NRA, no matter the cost to safety in Georgia communities.
Take our poll RIGHT NOW and tell us: Should Kemp and the GOP allow Georgians to carry guns without a license?
Thanks for taking action,
Team Bourdeaux
