The lineup for Movement Futures just keeps getting better. We've just announced special performances by TED Global Fellow Marc Bamuthi Joseph, Grammy-nominated singer Wayna*, and a keynote conversation featuring hip-hop historian Jeff Chang (We Gon' Be Alright), Teen Vogue Executive Editor Samhita Mukhopadhyay, and our own Malkia Devich-Cyril. This esteemed group will be diving deep into the battle for narrative change in the digital age — preparing us for the next ten years of this movement for our digital civil rights.
There will also be local artists in the house, including rapper Son of Nun and DJ Slammer of Anthology of Booty, as well as food, drinks, and a live painting by muralist CHELOVE! It's all going down Thursday at Eaton DC at 7 pm sharp and you don't want to miss it. Come through and help us imagine the future of this movement!
