Follow the Money: How Visa Props Up Pornhub's Advertising Revenue

In December 2020, Visa stopped allowing their cards to be used on the Pornhub website. This event caused an enormous splash in the press with multiple news articles exclaiming that Visa “cut ties” with Pornhub

However, Visa continues a financial relationship with Pornhub to this day through its advertising portal TrafficJunky—which itself is being exposed for abusive practices in how it deliberately targets ads towards illegal content.

NCOSE and allies have informed Visa time and again that by continuing their relationship with TrafficJunky, they are providing revenue to Pornhub and its parent company MindGeek—yet Visa continues this relationship.

Victory! The President of the United States Signs Debt Bondage Repair Act Into Law

The Debt Bondage Repair Act, which provides survivors an opportunity for financial independence and stability, passed Congress incorporated in the 2022 National Defense Authorization Act and was signed into law by the President of the United States.

Survivors will now have more opportunities for financial independence and stability, helping to end the cycle of exploitation and rebuild their lives.

This legislation was inspired by survivor testimony given by Dr. Marian Hatcher, a member of the NCOSE Advisory Council.

Countries with Legalized Prostitution Have Higher Rates of Sex Trafficking

The EU recently released a report assessing differing prostitution regulations across Member States and current sex trafficking and related data.

It was found that Member States that adopt a legalized approach to prostitution, both regulated and unregulated, have vastly higher rates of prostitution and sex trafficking.
