[1]Alessandra Biaggi - Democrat for Congress

It's Chris, Alessandra's campaign manager.

Because this is such a crowded primary, voters often ask me — and our team — why Alessandra is the best Democratic candidate in this race, and what her path to victory looks like. So I wanted to take some time to sketch that out for you today.

The truth is that Alessandra is the only person in this primary with a clear record of delivering for all New Yorkers.

In 2018, when she saw that her state senator was working against progressive interests, she challenged him — and won, despite being outspent 10-to-1.

When she was elected, she got straight to work passing bold legislation like codifying legal abortion and historic climate action bills.

She’s the best candidate in this primary because of her history delivering for her community and the people of New York. Look, don’t take my word for it, ask her constituents who elected her for reelection in 2020. She even outperformed Joe Biden in her senate district by four points.

That’s why I know that Alessandra is the candidate to beat. But the other candidates know that, too, and they’ll throw ridiculous amounts of money into stopping her momentum.

So please, make a contribution of $5 or whatever you can afford to Alessandra’s campaign today. Our first Federal Deadline is coming up in about two weeks, so your support is more important than ever right now.

Look, I wouldn’t be on Alessandra’s team if I didn’t believe in her and her ability to get things done for the people of NY-3. But no one, not even Alessandra, can win in such a crowded race without lots and lots of support from people like you chipping in small amounts of money when you can.

Thanks for reading,
Chris
