Hardworking Americans are once again being forced to foot the bill for President Biden’s poor decisions. Liberals’ war on American energy has caused gas prices to soar to a record high. 
 
What was the Biden administration’s message to the American people? Stop complaining and buy an electric car. This elitist mindset shouldn’t come as a surprise. For years, liberal states have been mimicking their partners in Washington by ramming through radical Green New Deal-style laws that restrict American energy. As a result, eight of the ten most expensive states for electricity and eight of the ten most expensive states for gas have liberal-controlled legislatures.  
 
The most frustrating part is that we know the solution to the problem. It’s called energy independence. While liberal states chased their Green Dream, conservative states kept their constituents’ pocketbooks in mind by empowering American energy. When we empower American energy, we create jobs, lower costs, and safeguard America’s national security from dependence on foreign oil.
