Nurses, like other frontline workers, are heroes of this pandemic.

After everything they've done + all the lives they've saved, they
shouldn't *need* to march in the streets for safe conditions and fair pay.

Yet, that’s exactly what’s happening here in Armstrong County,
Pennsylvania.

Yesterday, I was honored to join the PA Association of Staff Nurses +
Allied Professionals in their fight for the conditions and pay they
deserve.

The union way of life is sacred, and we should *always* protect it.
Weekends, the eight hour workday, benefits — we have all that thanks to
unions and the centuries-long labor movement that built this nation.

In the face of unprecedented attacks on workers and the right to form a
union, we must support our unions and pass the PRO Act — a crucial piece
of legislation to put power back into the hands of workers, strengthen our
unions, and expand the union way of life for all workers across America.

When you send
me to the Senate this November, I promise you I will be the 51st
Democratic vote to pass the PRO Act and other necessary legislation to
support workers across PA + the country.
