It was great to see Nottingham on Channel 5’s The Gadget Show on Wednesday (16 March). If you missed it – Ortis Deley, with some help from Cat Dixon and Raz Marsden, tested some innovative bikes along the Victoria Embankment and braved ‘Death Hill’ in Gedling.

Public transport
Staying safe

Bus services🚌
There will be some disruption over the next three to four weeks to some of our older real time signs at bus stops, while we migrate these signs to a new transmitter. For live bus times, please check directly with your local operator. We apologise for any inconvenience.

CrossCountry: There is some disruption to services. Check CrossCountry's website for the latest information.
EMR: This weekend, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March rail replacement buses will run between Nottingham and Grantham. This is due to essential engineering work. Please check your journey and EMR's website for the latest information.

All operators in the city continue to clean vehicles thoroughly on a regular basis, and windows on buses will be kept open for ventilation.

Monday 14 March - Friday 20 May: Alfreton Road / Gregory Boulevard Temporary signals and lane closures for works to upgrade the signalised junction. Lane closures will be restricted to off-peak working to reduce impact on rush hour traffic. Find out more here.

Severn Trent Water replacement scheme
Severn Trent will be undertaking a scheme to replace water mains on various roads in the Forest Fields area from July 2021. This will include rolling road closures and parking suspensions in 100m sections to excavate and install new water mains in the highway.
14 March 2022 - 23 March 2022: Noel Street Road closure at the junction of Gregory Boulevard to the junction of Bentinck Road and Mount Hooton Road.
