Each day, we check our fundraising numbers and do a quick calculation for where we think we'll land this month. Unfortunately, it's looking like we're going to fall short of our critical end-of-month goal.

In a regular month, this is bad — but the timing now couldn't be any worse: At the end of this month we'll have to report our fundraising numbers, and if we fall short, the GOP's attacks on Senator Hassan could get even worse.

I know you hear a lot from our team about our fundraising numbers. But these goals really matter: at the start of each month, we evaluate what resources we need to reach every voter in New Hampshire through ads, organizing, and outreach. If we fall short, it means we might have to change our campaign strategy.  

All that said, I'm not worried. I know that folks like you have stepped up in critical moments in the past, and I assured our team that we can make up this shortfall today with the help of our best supporters. 

We set an emergency fundraising goal of $10,454 by midnight tonight to get us back on track. Please, will you rush $5 — or whatever you can — to help us reach our goal? Anything helps, and I promise I wouldn’t ask if it wasn't urgent.
