“Citing specter of voter fraud, GOP targets program to protect Minnesotans at high safety risk”
- Star Tribune
Despite not being able to cite a single instance of voter fraud among participants, MN Senate Republicans are now attacking a program that protects the addresses of voters who have been victims of intimate partner violence.
Even by the standards of the modern Republican Party, this thinly veiled attempt to suppress the vote and sow distrust in our election systems is shameful and cruel.
Since the deadly insurrection at our nation’s capitol on January 6, 2021, it’s clear the GOP will do whatever it takes to systematically suppress the vote – no matter who they put at risk or disenfranchise.
John, make no mistake: Democracy itself is on the ballot this November. We can’t afford to cede any ground in this fight, which is why we need your help right away.
To fund our defense of this critical program for Minnesotans at high safety risk, we need to raise $10,000 by the end of the weekend.
As one of our strongest supporters, we’re reaching out to you first: Will you rush a donation that works for you today to help us reach our budget target so we can defend the voting rights of Minnesotans?
