Today, I want to talk about a big deadline we have coming up in two weeks: the first FEC fundraising deadline of the election year.
FEC deadlines are different from our usual monthly fundraising deadlines and goals. These are public reporting deadlines required by law.
As campaign treasurer, I will be keeping a close eye on our numbers the closer we get to the FEC deadline to make sure they’re tracking where they need to be. With the general election less than eight months away, we need to be prepared for weeks and months of organizing and outreach to connect with TX-07 voters (70% of them are new!) and tell them about Lizzie and the work she’s doing in Congress.
