Friend, we’re experiencing record-setting temperatures, increased greenhouse gas emissions, and an ongoing wildfire crisis that all impact the air we breathe.

Last year, Southern California was ranked WORST in the nation for air quality, according to an Environment California-CALPIRG study.

We know, it’s awful.

And while air pollution affects all of us, it is particularly damaging for lower income communities and communities of color who regularly experience even higher levels of pollution.

We are committed to advocating on behalf of ALL Californians to ensure that the air we breathe is safe.

What do you think about the air pollutants in your community? Help us work towards a cleaner air future by responding to our quick poll now:

Are you concerned about the air quality in your community?

Friend, when it comes to environmental justice in air pollution, we wish we could tell you that our leadership is doing enough. But unfortunately, it’s just not the case.

Recently, the California State Senate had the opportunity to pass SB 342, which would have added two environmental justice seats to the South Coast Air Quality Management District board and improve air quality for 17 million people in Southern California. This includes improving air quality in the predominantly Black and Brown communities throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties with the worst air quality in the country.

However, the oil industry made sure this critical bill FAILED.

That’s unacceptable: If our elected officials are going to prioritize corporate profits over our health, it’s on us to step up and hold them accountable.

To do that, we first need to hear from you about air pollution in your community. Please take our short poll now >>

We can’t wait to hear from you!
