Dear John,
President Biden has fulfilled his commitment to nominate the first Black woman Supreme Court justice, and now is the time to show up for her.
Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination as the first Black woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court is historic and long overdue. KBJ is committed to equal justice and has a demonstrated commitment to protecting the rights of all people, not just the rich and powerful. She is eminently qualified. In fact, few jurists can match her broad experience across the legal profession — as a federal judge, a member of the bipartisan U.S. Sentencing Commission, an attorney in private practice, and as a federal public defender.
Sign our petition to tell the Senate you support the swift and unobstructed confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court. [[link removed]]
Senate Republicans and conservative groups have already started making unfair and baseless attacks. They’re putting politics ahead of a fair process. They’re doing everything they can to obstruct her confirmation.
That is why we must take action to tell the senate to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson! Lend your name to the fight to confirm Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the U.S. Supreme Court. [[link removed]]
This is an enormously consequential moment for all of us. Every justice on the Supreme Court can shape the law and lives of millions of families. We deserve the best, and KBJ is it.
