Speak Out for Life at Colorado Capitol: Oppose House Bill 1279 Urge Your Senator to Oppose Radical Abortion Bill!

By: Nicole Hunt

A radical abortion bill – HB22-1279 – is making its way through the Colorado State Assembly.

Pro-life lawmakers in the House filibustered this extreme abortion bill that removes any restrictions on abortion in Colorado. Despite their best efforts, the bill was passed on a party-line vote and has now moved to the Senate for a vote.

This bill is an attack on life in the womb, parental rights and human rights!

If passed, HB22-1279 would:

- Make abortion on demand legal under Colorado law at any time and for any reason.
- Declare that preborn babies have no rights under Colorado law.
- Invalidate all existing laws that limit abortion – like parental notification for minors.
- Prohibit the creation of any new pro-life laws – like banning late-term abortion.
Pro-abortion activists are pushing for a vote on this measure because they are worried that the US Supreme Court could overturn Roe v. Wade.

‘Whose Children Are They?’ Film Coming to Theaters and Churches
By: Jeff Johnston

The film Whose Children Are They? Exposing the Hidden Agenda in America’s Schools was shown at theaters across the country on Monday, March 14.

The documentary, which exposes the indoctrination taking place in our nation’s schools, is also available for churches and schools to host a screening from March 15 to April 14.

The film is described as a “groundbreaking and powerfully persuasive documentary featuring brave teachers, empowered parents, and front-line experts who pull back the curtain about what is truly happening in our public schools today.”

Charlie Kirk, radio talk show host and founder of Turning Point USA, will host a panel for a post-film discussion with the producers and film makers.

Those featured in the film include Rebecca Friedrichs, Carol Swain, Virginia Walden-Ford and Andrew Pollack.

Friedrichs told Fox News, “I’d like parents to understand that the root problem in our schools is the so-called teachers’ unions and their radical agenda — not good teachers.”

Ukraine President Appeals to America’s History in Address to Congress

By: Bruce Hausknecht

American philosopher George Santayana is best known for his quote, “Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” The maxim reminds the reader that we can, and should, learn from the past in order to avoid committing the same mistakes others have made.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky leaned heavily into Santayana’s wisdom in his address to the U.S. Congress on March 16. In his appeal for help to fend off the Russian invasion of his country, Zelensky offered illustrations that ought to be familiar to Americans, with references to Mount Rushmore, Pearl Harbor, 9/11, and Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.

On Mount Rushmore: “Just like anyone else in the United States, I remember the national memorial, Mount Rushmore. The basis of your prominent presidents, those who laid the foundation of the United States of America.”

On Pearl Harbor: “Remember Pearl Harbor, the morning of December 7, 1941, when your sky was black from the planes attacking you.”

On 9/11: “Remember September 11, a terrible day in 2001 when people tried to turn your cities into battlefields. When innocent people were attacked from the air.”

Wisconsin Teachers Instructed to Hide Students’ Gender Identities from Parents

By: Zachary Mettler

Teachers at a school district in Wisconsin have been instructed to withhold information about their students’ changing “gender identities” from their parents, according to newly leaked training documents.

The documents come from “recent staff development sessions for teachers in the Eau Claire Area School District” in Wisconsin that focused on “safe spaces, gender identity, microaggression, and oppression.”

The “Safe Space” panel was led by three “experts,” including Dr. Christopher Jorgenson, the director of the Gender & Sexuality Resource Center at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire (UWEC), Jodi Marie Thesing-Ritter, the Executive Director for Diversity and Inclusion at UWEC, and Dang Yang, the Director for the Office of Multicultural Affairs at UWEC.

All three “experts” began the panel by introducing themselves and informing the teachers of their “preferred pronouns.”

During the presentation, one slide that was utilized reminded teachers that “parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities. That knowledge must be earned.”

Another slide asserted that “teachers often find themselves in positions of trust with LGBTQ+ youth, because they cannot seek solace and support from their parents … How might you strategize the support of your LGBTQ+ students, without the support of their parents?”

Children Have a Fundamental Right to Their Mother and Father

By: The Daily Citizen

Katy Faust is an angry, fired up Seattle mother of four, and a pastor’s wife. She wasn’t always this way. For the most part, she was a shy woman who kept to herself. But then something set her off. Big time. She says she “straight up snapped.”

What set her off started a women-led, influential, international movement on how we view the family. Here is the story.

Katy’s mother and father divorced when she was 10 years old. It was difficult on her, even though she maintained a very close relationship with both her parents. Her dad remarried and her mother moved in with her female lover, who was not the cause of the divorce. She continued to love her mother and counted her partner as a close friend. But if Katy could have waved a magic wand, that young girl would have had her parents’ marriage mended. These new families left a deep wound in Katy’s heart. She is not alone in this.

Forward to an average day in 2012 and what made Katy really snap. It had to do with the cultural evolution of language over the make-up of family. She explains that right around the time President Obama mysteriously “evolved” on the subject of same-sex marriage – he was against it until he was for it, one evening after talking to his school-age daughter at bedtime – the nasty word “bigot” became attached to anyone who believed what humanity had always believed: Children need the love of a married mother and father.
