With less than two weeks until New York’s budget is finalized, we’re in the most critical period of our campaign to win equitable healthcare for all New Yorkers.

We just secured a major victory—both Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie have included Coverage4All in their respective one-house budgets. This means that affordable and high-quality health coverage for immigrant New Yorkers, regardless of immigration status, has been prioritized by our leaders in Albany! Now, it’s up to Governor Hochul to keep Coverage4All in the budget—over 154,000 uninsured New Yorkers are counting on her to deliver health coverage.
