This week, Florida’s legislative session officially ended, and it wasn’t pretty.
In one of the most horrific displays of legislative radicalism we’ve seen in decades, the Florida GOP passed an abortion ban, censored our educators, targeted public schools, and attacked our freedoms.
And in doing so, they made it perfectly clear why the 2022 elections are so important — because, if we let the GOP take back the majority in Congress, they’ll do the exact same thing on a NATIONAL level.
The Florida GOP has done so much damage to our state, but honestly, they’re just following the playbook laid out for them by radical right-wingers like Donald Trump, Kevin McCarthy, and Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The Florida GOP is just one piece of a much larger puzzle — and no matter how much damage they do, you can bet that Republicans in Congress will do ten times worse if they win back the House in 2022.
