I've said it before, and I'll say it again: the 2022 midterms are the most important in recent memory. Michigan is one of the most critical battlegrounds in the fight for the future of our democracy and our Democratic majority.

Our grassroots team started the year red hot, but March contributions have slowed to a trickle. I was utterly stunned when my team told me today that we're on pace to fall short of our FEC deadline goal at the end of March.

Right now would be the worst possible moment to lose the momentum. Why? Betsy DeVos is promising to do everything she can to help Michigan Republicans win in 2022.

And Donald Trump is giving huge money to Michigan Republicans who spread his dangerous "big lie" about the 2020 election. He even recently hosted a high-dollar fundraiser for one of these extremist candidates at Mar-a-Lago.

When our first FEC report becomes public, I want to send the message that Democrats are more fired up than ever to win in Michigan.
