John, I'll cut right to the chase: Heading into November, Democrats have zero room for error. With a 50-50 split Senate, the GOP only needs to flip one seat red to deliver the majority back to Mitch McConnell — and experts everywhere from Nate Silver's FiveThirtyEight to CNN are reporting that, as of today, they're favored to do just that.
Polling shows key battleground races in states like Arizona and Georgia are locked in dead heats, and right-wing special interest groups are spending millions of dollars to tip the scales in their favor. If we're going to build a strategy strong enough to fight back and defend Senate control, we need the insights of committed grassroots Democrats.
