NEW: 2022 Alzheimer's Disease Facts and Figures
Dear John,
I'm so grateful you're standing with us in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. You play a critical role in helping us achieve our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia. Thank you for your commitment to the millions of people impacted by this devastating disease.

Because of that commitment, I want you to be among the first to see our 2022 Alzheimer's Disease Facts and Figures report. This report will provide you with the latest numbers related to the devastating impact Alzheimer's has on our loved ones, caregivers, communities and health care systems.

Of course, behind these numbers are real people: mothers, fathers, spouses, colleagues and friends. Perhaps even someone you know. The fact is, half of all Americans know someone living with Alzheimer's or another dementia.

Alzheimer's remains an escalating global crisis, and some of the numbers you'll read in this report may be alarming. Currently, one in every three seniors dies with Alzheimer's or another dementia — and the aging of the baby-boom generation will significantly increase the number of people in the United States living with this disease.

But you should know we are working every day to accelerate research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure, and continuing to provide care and support to those living with Alzheimer's and their caregivers.
