I wanted to reach out with an update on my work in Congress, John:
Last week, I fought hard to pass a critical government funding bill that includes much-needed investments right here at home. From water systems to housing, veterans support and transit, we’ve delivered bold investments for all of us – for the South Sound, for our nation, and for our neighbors in Ukraine.
This omnibus spending package also includes billions of dollars for K-12 schools; new funding for child nutrition programs; a reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act; strong investments in American infrastructure; and $13.6 billion in economic, humanitarian, and military assistance for Ukraine.
The investments we passed are an important step towards the kind of progress our nation needs at this moment. I’m proud of the work we’ve done – but our work’s not over! We need to keep making progress for all of our communities.
I want to know what’s on your mind as I prepare for all of the work that lies ahead. Will you take a few minutes to complete my Issues Survey and let me know what issues are most important to you?

Let’s keep fighting for a better future, John. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me today!
