I hope your week has been positive and productive.
I wanted to drop you a quick note today about some projects I am working on. These are just a few of the causes I'm passionate about. I hope you can spread the word and get involved.
And, as always, I am here to answer any questions or help however I can.
Clean Air Project If you follow me on social media, you know I am passionate about #CleanAir, and ASU’s DIY Corsi-Rosenthal community project to
help bring cleaner air to Arizona classrooms is so important, especially as we decrease mask usage and see class sizes remain large.
The project is building DIY air filtration units, called Corsi-Rosenthal boxes. These portable air cleaners have been shown to work as effectively as portable HEPA filters at removing airborne viruses, smoke, and air pollution, at a fraction of the cost.
Our educators and public schools are under so many attacks, can you help do some good for them? See where units are now in classrooms across Arizona here.
The next build event is on April 2nd, and they need supplies! Questions or interested in volunteering? Contact [email protected]
Special Campaign to Beat Cancer
In case you missed it, I've accepted a nomination to run for Woman of the Year with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
I lost my father to Multiple Myeloma, a bloodcancer, and I have joined this effort to honor his memory and support children and adults, like Ryan and Zoe, who are in the fight against blood cancers today.
LLS does such important work in driving equitable access to care, and the organization's research over the years has significantly improved outcomes and gotten
us closer to a cure. This year's local campaign, which features 10 candidates over 10 weeks, hopes to raise a total of $1 million!
We are almost already into Week 3 of this effort, and I am so grateful to everyone who has already contributed, shared their story with me and spread the word.
P.S. Interested in possibly joining my fundraising team? Simply email me back and we’ll set a time to chat. P.P.S. More to come on how I am hoping to help women political candidates this cycle, with their tech, advising and more. Plus, some events!
