When I served as the Assistant Secretary of the Army for President Trump, I worked tirelessly to help secure our southern border. In fact, my office changed the hiring rules and got boots on the ground in record time to start construction. By making America First a priority, we were able to secure 450 miles of the border.

On Day One in Congress, I will propose a bill to finish the job.

Under President Biden, there is a crisis at our southern border. By refusing to secure the border, we are putting our national security at risk by allowing criminals to cross into America undeterred.

Coyotes are putting lives at risk, drug and human trafficking is rampant, and we’ve tied the hands of border agents to do their jobs.
