Friend,
I’m honored to be the first Puerto Rican woman elected to Congress and the first Latina to chair a full Congressional committee, and I’m committed to helping those who come after me.
I’ve dedicated much of my career to building a progressive, woman-led movement of leaders ready to represent their communities. And we’re making real progress: Last year, we elected the first majority-woman City Council in New York history, and a record number of women of color are serving in Congress.
Additionally, I’m proud to support policies that predominantly affect women, including fighting for reproductive rights, universal paid leave, and closing the gender wage gap.
But I wouldn’t be able to do any of this work without your support. Will you join me in celebrating Women’s History Month by donating to my campaign so I can continue this crucial fight? [[link removed]]

Not too long ago having a woman Speaker of the City Council or the House of Representatives would be unthinkable. Now, I’m proud to work with women at every level of government -- women who understand what our communities need and are ready to go to bat to ensure we get it.
There’s still a long way to go, but I’m proud of how far we’ve come, and I’m ready to take on the next fights. Are you with me? [[link removed]]
