** Arlington County Manager Releases Proposed FY23 Budget
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
Arlington's proposed FY 2023 budget focuses on the County's workforce, affordable housing, schools, and the environment. AHS is pleased to see increases in housing-related County staff in order to support the increased workload and complexity of development occurring in Arlington. We are also in favor of the ongoing funding for both the Housing Grant and the Permanent Supportive Housing programs, which support many of our most vulnerable neighbors.
AHS plans to submit a letter to the County Board with additional thoughts and recommendations on the budget before the final vote on Saturday, April 23rd.
The Board is conducting a series of work sessions this month that will be live-streamed for the public. These sessions will be followed by a public budget hearing on March 29th. You can participate in person or virtually. To sign up to speak, visit the County Board webpage ([link removed]) .
