John,
Just over a year ago, President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan into law. The $1.9 trillion investment in our country delivered critical funding when we needed it most.
I am proud to have supported this bill and am thrilled by the impact it's made here in Virginia.
We committed $722 million to make universal broadband internet access a reality. Virginia families, businesses, schools, and hospitals continue to benefit from the historic investment. Because of my action in Congress, we’re working to close the digital divide once and for all.
Virginia schools also received $2.1 billion to reconfigure classrooms, hire teachers, buy new tech, and more. I am proud to have kept Virginia’s students and faculty safe.
Reflecting on this progress, I remain energized to continue delivering for VA-07. Our race will be extremely close this fall, and I’m counting on your support to ensure we run a strong campaign. ([link removed])
I know with your support we’ll win again this year, and I’m hoping you’ll consider a contribution to our campaign today.
