Just announced: FY 2022 State Justice Statistics Program for Statistical Analysis Centers

BJS seeks applications from state Statistical Analysis Centers (SACs) for funding under the 2022 State Justice Statistics (SJS) program. The goal of the SJS program is to provide financial and technical assistance to state governments for the establishment and operation of SACs to collect, analyze, and disseminate justice statistics. SACs are strongly encouraged to collaborate with their State Administering Agency (SAA) on developing FY 2022 SJS projects. Additionally, SACs are encouraged to explore possible collaborations with foundations, academic institutions, and other potential sources of support for building SAC capabilities.?

Applications are submitted in a two-step process, each with its own deadline:

  1. Submit an SF-424 and an SF-LLL in Grants.gov. Grants.gov deadline: May 9, 2022 by 8:59 p.m. ET
  2. Submit the full application including attachments in JustGrants.?JustGrants deadline: May 16, 2022 by 8:59 p.m. ET

Actions needed associated with Unique Entity Identifiers (UEI) transition

As part of the federal government?s transition from the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) to UEI, Grants.gov will transition to UEI at 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2022. A recent JustGrants announcement includes important information about the transition and actions that entities must take when applying for funding opportunities with a Grants.gov close date after March 31, 2022.
